Grants to digitalise your business: what support exists in Spain in 2026 and how to use it

Grants to digitalise your business co-fund the diagnosis, consulting and roll-out of tools such as an ERP, a CRM or automations. As of October 2026, Kit Digital and Kit Consulting are not accepting new applications; what remains active are Chamber of Commerce calls such as Pyme Digital and regional schemes such as ACCIÓ's in Catalonia. Prepare your project before the window opens.

Grants to digitalise your business: what support exists in Spain in 2026 and how to use it

In short

  • Kit Digital closed applications on 31 October 2025 and Kit Consulting on 31 March 2025; their rules were amended in 2026 to reuse funds, but no open call has been verified.
  • Pyme Digital (formerly TICCámaras) subsidises up to 85% of an investment of up to EUR 7,000 in ERP, CRM, e-commerce or digital marketing, depending on the region.
  • In Catalonia, the ACCIÓ AI vouchers closed on 30 July 2026; the growth strategy vouchers remain open until 16 November 2026.
  • Grants work best for a project with clear commercial goals (exporting, winning clients, invoicing without errors) rather than a one-off software purchase.
  • FUNDAE training credit is not a grant: it funds training through the company's own credit and pairs well with a digitalisation project.

Grants to digitalise your business: what they fund and why it matters

Grants to digitalise your business cover part of the cost of modernising how you sell and how you run operations: a digital maturity assessment, specialist consulting, rolling out an ERP or a CRM, an online store or cybersecurity measures. They rarely cover day-to-day costs; they cover a project with a defined scope, budget and timeline.

At Vycte we see them as a lever, not an end in themselves. Digitalisation is worth it when it helps you export, win clients and operate without errors: a multilingual B2B catalogue for distributors, a CRM that does not lose opportunities or e-invoicing that complies with VeriFactu. If you are still deciding what to digitalise, start with our guide to digitalisation with Holded, Clientify and Make.

Support comes from three levels with different calendars: the State (Red.es and the Ministry of Industry), the Chambers of Commerce with ERDF funds, and the regional governments, such as ACCIÓ in Catalonia. Export grants follow a different route, which we cover in our guide to internationalisation grants.

Kit Digital 2026 and Kit Consulting: what is left of the national programmes

Many searches for Kit Digital 2026 assume the programme is still open. It is not: Red.es closed the last two calls on 31 October 2025, after granting support to around 850,000 businesses. In January 2026, Order TDF/39/2026 amended the rules so the programme stays in force until funds are exhausted and Red.es reinvests any unspent budget. It also requires new award proposals for applicants left out for lack of funds. What it does not do is open a new application window.

Kit Consulting was the most interesting line for a mid-sized SME: vouchers of EUR 12,000, 18,000 or 24,000, depending on headcount, to hire consulting in artificial intelligence, data analysis, digital sales, business processes, strategy, cybersecurity or end-to-end digital transformation. Applications closed on 31 March 2025 and agreements with the adviser had to be signed by 30 September 2025. Order TDF/38/2026 allows new calls with the remaining funds, but as of October 2026 we have not been able to verify any open call.

The Activa Industria 4.0 programme, run by Fundación EOI, offered manufacturing SMEs a free digital assessment and transformation plan with at least 50 hours of consulting. Its last call closed in 2025 and we have not found a new one for 2026. Keep an eye on the National Grants Database if your company is industrial.

Pyme Digital, Pyme Cibersegura and digitalisation grants in Catalonia

Pyme Digital (formerly TICCámaras)

This is currently the most accessible route. According to camara.es, it has two phases: a free assessment of your digital maturity and an implementation phase in which you choose the supplier and the Chamber processes the grant, which reaches up to 85% depending on the region, on an investment of up to EUR 7,000. Eligible solutions include ERP, CRM, POS, online store, payment gateway, e-invoicing, digital signature and digital marketing.

Each Chamber opens its own call with its own dates and rate. In Catalonia, Tarragona's was open from 9 March to 31 July 2026 and Girona's accepts applications until 31 October 2026. In the calls we reviewed, the company pays the supplier up front and receives the grant afterwards; VAT is not eligible.

Pyme Cibersegura

The Chambers also run Pyme Cibersegura, with an assessment and support to implement cybersecurity measures. It follows the same area-by-area model: Tarragona closed on 31 July 2026 and Girona remains open until 31 October 2026.

Digitalisation grants in Catalonia (ACCIÓ and the Government of Catalonia)

Digitalisation grants in Catalonia in 2026 have taken three routes. The ACCIÓ AI adoption vouchers (up to EUR 8,000) funded an assessment to prioritise AI solutions and closed on 30 July 2026. The productive investments line from the Directorate-General for Industry covered projects with automation or Industry 4.0 linked to machinery and closed on 22 April. The growth strategy vouchers remain open until 16 November 2026, although they cover general strategy, not digitalisation. We have not found a specific Industry 4.0 voucher line in 2026.

Grants for ERP and CRM: which costs are usually eligible

Each call defines its own eligible costs, so there is no universal list. What we see repeatedly in digitalisation programmes is this:

  • Usually eligible: assessment and consulting, configuration and roll-out of the solution (ERP, CRM, online store, e-invoicing), integrations between tools and, in some programmes, project-related training.
  • Depends on the programme: software licences and subscriptions. Pyme Digital accepts solutions such as ERP or CRM; the ACCIÓ AI vouchers expressly excluded software, licences and website or app development.
  • Almost never eligible: VAT, recurring running costs, in-house staff, costs incurred before applying and cash payments.

The practical takeaway: if you want a grant for an ERP or a CRM, read the eligible-costs annex first and build the budget so every line fits. A poorly itemised quote can leave half the project out.

How to prepare the project before the call opens

Digitalisation calls are often awarded on a first-come basis or by lottery, and some last only a few weeks. Whoever has the project ready wins. This is the order we follow:

  1. Define the business goal: selling to distributors in another country, replying to leads faster, removing double order entry or complying with VeriFactu.
  2. Map your current processes: who does what, with which tool, and where time or information gets lost.
  3. Choose the solution and scope: which Holded modules, which Clientify pipeline, which Make automations, or whether you need custom software.
  4. Ask for an itemised quote with lines that match the call's eligible costs.
  5. Check eligibility: size, location, sector, de minimis aid received and being up to date with the Tax Agency and Social Security.
  6. Have the legal representative's digital signature ready and access to the Chamber's or agency's e-office.
  7. Apply on day one and keep all the evidence for the final report.

How Holded, Clientify, Make and custom software fit in

Grants do not choose the tool for you, but they do shape the scope. This is how the solutions we work with fit in:

  • Holded (ERP): invoicing with VeriFactu, accounting, inventory, projects and multi-rate, multilingual and multi-currency B2B catalogues for exporters. Vycte is a Holded Solution Partner Gold, one of the few partners at that level. More in our Holded implementation service.
  • Clientify (CRM): sales pipeline, official WhatsApp Business, forms and marketing automations. We are an official Clientify partner.
  • Make and n8n: connect the ERP, CRM, online store and email so data is not copied by hand. We explain it in our guide to Make automations.
  • Custom software: when no standard tool fits, we build bespoke platforms. Vycte has built its own product, Exporta.ai, an AI-powered export platform.

We bring all this together in our SME digitalisation service: assessment, roll-out, integrations and team training, with or without a grant.

Grants and FUNDAE training credit are not the same thing

This is a common confusion. A grant is public money awarded through a call with a limited window and budget. FUNDAE-funded training, on the other hand, uses the annual credit available to companies that pay vocational training contributions: according to FUNDAE, that credit is applied as a rebate on Social Security contributions once the training has taken place.

The two routes complement each other. A grant can co-fund the roll-out of Holded or Clientify, and FUNDAE credit can fund training for the team that will use it. All Vycte training courses (export, B2B client acquisition, applied AI, Holded, Clientify and Make) can be funded through FUNDAE. We explain it step by step in our guide to FUNDAE-funded training.

Common mistakes when applying for digitalisation grants

  • Buying first and applying later: costs incurred before the application are usually not eligible.
  • Choosing the tool because of the grant rather than the process: a subsidised CRM nobody uses is expensive.
  • Submitting a quote that is not itemised or that includes lines the call excludes.
  • Skipping the prior assessment when the call requires it, as in Pyme Digital.
  • Not planning cash flow: in many calls you pay the supplier and receive the grant months later.
  • Neglecting the final report: invoices, bank transfers, deliverables and EU funding publicity where applicable.

If your goal is to sell abroad, align digitalisation with your international sales plan: our export service and the Exporta.ai platform, which includes a grant finder in beta, help you prioritise markets before investing.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kit Digital available in 2026?

Not for new applications. Red.es closed the last Kit Digital calls on 31 October 2025. In January 2026, Order TDF/39/2026 amended the rules to reuse leftover funds and resolve applications that ran out of budget, but as of October 2026 there is no new open window. Check the Red.es e-office before signing with any supplier.

Is Kit Consulting still open?

No. Kit Consulting applications closed on 31 March 2025 and agreements with digital advisers had to be signed by 30 September 2025. Order TDF/38/2026 allows new calls with the remaining funds, but as of October 2026 we have not verified any open call. If one opens, prepare the assessment and the consulting objective in advance.

What grants are there to implement an ERP or a CRM?

As of October 2026, the most direct route is the Chambers of Commerce's Pyme Digital programme, formerly TICCámaras: a free assessment and a grant of up to 85% on an investment of up to EUR 7,000, depending on the region, for solutions such as ERP or CRM. Each Chamber sets its own dates; in Girona, for example, it is open until 31 October 2026.

What digitalisation grants are available in Catalonia?

In 2026 ACCIÓ opened AI adoption vouchers of up to EUR 8,000, now closed, and the Government of Catalonia ran a productive investments line covering automation and Industry 4.0, also closed. Still open are the growth strategy vouchers until 16 November 2026 and the Pyme Digital and Pyme Cibersegura calls of some Catalan Chambers of Commerce.

Can I combine a digitalisation grant with FUNDAE training credit?

Yes, as long as you do not fund the same cost twice. Typically the grant covers the assessment or the software roll-out and the team's training is funded with the company's FUNDAE credit. Check in each call whether training is an eligible cost so the two do not overlap.
